And a review...

You see, in the making of the manor, I found I needed a blue filter on top because of this:

People questioned whether I really needed it or not, and this is their answer: The walls, fence, and garden were too warm otherwise, and while the contrast would have brought the house out, I felt it inappropriate to leave it like so ^

Ambassator's Manor

The house of the squid ambassador has a garden, is made of 3 different types of granite, and has a wood gagre door.

I learned something from this assignment: DO NOT PRINT IN CARDSTOCK. It's awful how much darker it is on paper.

You see, no one believes me when I say that squids could rule the world. Well not I'm designing logos for a squid's weapon shop, and, yeah, it knows how to use every weapon. True story.
The sketches with the dot either above or below the sketch are up for finals.

Being God. Making a squid.

The process is fuzzy and difficult, since the squid has so much texture and gradient. I may have to ultimately forego the texture, but I'll keep the gradient. The tentacles are also proving to be tough. They have a complex shadow to them that's difficult to grasp.
